I have a few new plants on the way, one including java moss. Just realized after reading a lighting thread that I only have a 15 watt bulb. What can I get for a 10 gallon tank that will be enough to sustain plant life? and where can i get it?

You could get a small desk light with a gooseneck and put in a screw-in "plant" light, 40-60W, or a compact fluorescent and just aim it into the tank. They are pretty cheap at Wall Mart. In fact, I'm actually using one of these over one of my tall 30 gallon hexagonal tanks and it's working rather well as permanent lighting. Also, if the 10 gallon is only a temporary enclosure for your plants, you could leave them in their pots with just some sphagnum on the bottom to absorb run-off from watering, and place the tank near a window for extra lighting. (I'm doing this as well, for some extra plants I haven't used yet, and the sphagnum layer is nice to have for rooting cuttings.) You can keep the Java moss in plain water or water over a bit of your substrate mix in a plastic food container and put it on a window sill that doesn't get a lot of direct sun. Without frogs in the 10 gallon, you don't need to cover it with anything, so this enhances the lighting that actually reaches your plants.

I do have frogs in my tank. And it is temporary, but by temporary i mean 2 months to be able to build up a 30 gallon. My friend said if I go more than the 15W bulbt hat's in there, i'll kill da frog
Sorry, I didn't understand what you were posting. So you have a 15 W strip light now? With room light, it should suffice until your get your permanent tank set up.
