i wonder if a tegu

can fit in a tall cage.i have a 6 and half foot tall (3 feet wide and deep)enclosure.and was wondering if there is any species of tegu that could live in it.or do they need a vertical cage.

Tegus are not climbers, so you need a vertically oriented cage. The one youdescribe would not be large enough for a full grown tegu.

A vertical enclosure is what you have. You would want a horizontal enclosure of about same size. Perhaps you can lay it down?

Note: To remember horizontal from vertical, think about how the "horizon" stretches out over the ocean "horizon"tally.
