Can you handle GTPs? Also how big do they get and how big of a tank would you need to keep one?

handling really depends on the tempermant of the animal. my aru can be handled easily, however when i went to pick him up from the breeders place, he had an extremly agressive biak. i walked by the tank and he stood at attack position ready to bite me! lol. They grow around 4-5 feet by 2-3 years of age. i would reccomend to buy "The complete chondro" by greg maxwell before you buy one (if you're looking at getting one.) this is a basic care sheet he wrote. very informative.

and for the caging i wouldnt go less than 30" wide, 24" deep and 18" tall. there is debate on this, however.
