Hello!!
I have a beardie (Tyson). I am wondering if they are safe to have around newborns. My girlfriend is pregnant and we would like to know if Tyson may carry any diseases, or if there is anything that would cause us to worry. Thanks for the help!

Hello Brandon,
Yes they do carry Salmonella in their gut and feces, but if you guys get some Antibacterial gel for before and after handling the dragon then you should be fine. Also make sure to wash your hands with anitnbacterial soap before you touch the baby.
