You have got to have the largest 6 month old hatchlings in the world. My '03's are barely that size. That DH for ?? is huge.
Bond.................James Bond.

I have 2 more of those, one is about the same size and the other was tiny at first. Now he is catching up and looking good. All 3 are very calm and great to handle too. Super nice normals care of Rainer. I am sure he is confident they are getting enough to eat over here. LOL Tom Stevens

Very nice. When did it hatch out ? My Hernando Co. animal is about that big and she hatched in late July.

Keith

bluerosy Jan 28, 2005 12:46 PM

..nice try to get it out of Tom though

Nokturnel Tom Jan 28, 2005 12:50 PM

I don't know what you're getting at but if I must say it again I am a Brooksi fanatic. I have 15 assorted Brooksi and they're my favorite Kings. There was no mystery to what they were when I got them. They're sharp looking snakes and the fact they're a cool project that not many others could possibly be working with inclines me to keep it to myself. Sorry but everyone will have to wait before I reveal the secret double hets. They look so nice as is that I thought I would post a pic. I will have to ask Rainer when they hatched. I have 3 het for nothing normals, and 8 normal looking hets in my collection and even the normal Brooksi really appeal to me. I love the morphs even more but I think some hets seem to have a little bit of a different look to them. I really was showing off the size of the snake and also of the Axanthic I posted. They are not pin heads and have grown a lot and are always ready to eat. It is what makes these snakes even better ..... hardy captives that grow like weeds. Hope you liked the pics Tom Stevens

project reduction refering to the original breeder trying for double HOMO animals i.e.(ghost,snow etc...)how many dh's does one guy need to produce the target animal so off to market the surplus shall go unlabeled...Chris

I was high males (15-20) and sold them with undisclosed genetics for cheaper price, hence "mystery brooksi". I could not undercut the market for selling hets for $300 and then sell lone males for $35. to someone else.
Besides whats someone supposed to do with a $300 lone male het.? Even if its a triple het for rainbow? So they were sold as nice looking normals but with a secret undisclosed gentics.

But trust me what Tom has pictured is a very special DH-007 animal that no one else has and the herpetoculture has not fathomed yet. Can be very dangerous stuff to the feeble minds of the public. Haven't you seen Men in BlacK?

daveb Jan 28, 2005 12:14 PM

so I can ride around amongst the trees, vines and whatnot. My only question is what kind of hat should I wear, cowboy or pith?

Nokturnel Tom Jan 28, 2005 07:54 PM

Hey Dave, I have 1.2 of those and another pair of even more secr......wait I have said too much. Rainer X Keith>? LOL A locale specific Hybrid? LOL Just kidding guys Let's see how long this stays "underground", I hope the project pans out and gives all of us some new eye candy. Like I said, I posted the pic because of the size of the snake. It's only roughly 6 months old and will soon eat adult mice. My kinda snake. c ya Tom Stevens

I think it's funny I barely had any interest in my White Sided Speckled King pic but this secret het has my mailbox full. LOL Tom Stevens
