I love the intricate head and face patterns on Kings especially Eastern Kings. Here is one of my favorites.

I could get a nice close up of my '03 male NJ's face, he has some really wicked white labial stripes. My digital cam really doesn't do close-ups well though. Later Bro.

PS - Little frank is in shed right now, I'll get you some better pics when he is in fresh skin. I'll have to keep you goin with those for a while seeing as we are looking at a couple of more weeks of the deep freeze here in good 'ole WNY. Ohe yeah, he is also a black belly, I think I forgot to mention that.

No its my 2002 MD X NC Eastern. He looks like a NJ though with pencil thin crossbars etc...Cant wait to get those snakes ! I hear ya on the weather its chilly here as well.

I love Kingsnake head shots as well. This is not an Eastern, but look at the specks on each scale of this reduced black Thayeri.
