I just got my very first Leo today! I want to make sure I've got everything set up right for him/her. I have him in a 10 gallon tank with a hide, water dish and a red night bulb for heat. The girl at the pet store said the red was better because they couldn't see it and it wouldn't mess up his day/night cycle. For substrait I have reptile carpet, since he's such a little baby I was afraid to put him on sand. He's already wolfed down three small crickets (they didn't stand a chance) so I guess that's a good sign. Also can anyone tell me how old he might be, he's about 3 inches long. Sorry this post is so long, I just want to make sure he lives a long and happy life.

Congrats on your new pet and welcome to the forum! 3in...hmm..it could be anywhere from a month to 3 months(at the most). They all grow at different speeds so it's really hard to tell. If you have any more questions feel free to ask, were here to help.
