Update.... on Please HELP found eggs

Davemaymon Jan 27, 2005 09:31 PM

The eggs are still in the sealed container not wet but not dry.
the shells are to me "hard" which is a bad thing correct? they havent changed otherwise if anything they have become white-er.
ive held them up to a light 3 or 4 times now and i cant see a thing. i hope they are good but im doubting it the only thing i dont understand is "if they are bad why dont they stink?" i found them saturday thats almost a week ago and i dont know how long they were there before that could have been up to 2 weeks. they dont have any smell to them at all, if they were bad shouldnt they have begon to smell by now?
Thanks
Dave

When they begin to stink and are clearly rotten - throw them out. Until then, relax, and just keep doing what you're doing.

i usually notice them starting to get a little fuzz where they touch the vermiculite that's how i know they're infertile.
