FOR HUMIDITY IN THE TANK.....

twilightfade212 Jan 27, 2005 10:47 PM

I was told to put a little tupperware lined with moist paper towels in to give my snake the choice of humidity. I was unclear if I should have that all the time or just during shedding time. Should I have one in all the time? Thanks to anyone in advance who helps me out.

There is no need for the wet paper towel in there except when the snake goes into its opaque stage before shedding. Usually a water bowl on the "hot" side of the enclosure will add plenty humidity for shedding.
Hope this helps you.
