When I set up my new turtle habitat, the old gray hoses to my Fluval were too short. Having very limited aquatic suppliers around here, I purchased clear hoses and improvised. It's nice that you can see how clean/dirty the hoses are on the inside, but they kink slightly where the hose bends to enter the tank. I have these plastic hose "guides" but they don't do squat. Any suggestions?
