Tom, don't panic, it should all come off in time. Give her a few more days and if she still has patches left get a towel wet with warm water, wring it out good and wrap her up in it, or just lay it over her, leaving her head exposed. She'll like the heat and probably remain there for a time. When she starts to come out pick her up and keep slight pressure on her body. Let her slide through your hands. Most if not all the remaining patches should come loose.

First, stop worrying about the snake and get your report done. Yes... I'm a teacher. A warm bath would help your snake with its shed. But the process isn't life threatening. Stop procrastinating and get your report done!

Isn't 98 degrees a bit too warm for a Ball Python? Maybe not. I'm still a newbie. =/

Your correct, it is high. But it has the option of the cool side. However, high temperature can be a contributing factor to keeping the humidity up. Thus, the incomplete sheds!

GOOD CALL Chris !

Taking care of dry sheds is very simple, first dont wait!if the snake did not complete the shedding process conditions were too dry.I have done this for years with all types of snakes.put the snake in a container with about an inch of luke warm water, leave it in there until all of the shed comes off, over night if needed.Just remember the sooner you do this the better.just a word of caution, make sure the eye caps come off.Good luck.Terry
