Well, I think the average number of days from pre-lay to ovaposition is around 17. I would give her a nest box as soon asap just in case. Be patient and see if she enters the box on her own. If not you may want to take any high pearches out of the cage and fill the bottom of the cage with moss also. As far as the nest box, I would use something a little more secretive. You could cover the outside with a dark contact paper and leave a small window for easy viewing. The incubation method is entirely up to you. If she's a good mom, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. On the other hand, you could also get some bad eggs and ruin the whole clutch. Just have the incubator up and calibrated so you are ready if she leaves the eggs. Any way you look at it, you'll be stressed out for the next two months. lol. Good luck and keep us posted. I'd love to see another healthy clutch of baby chondros hatch.

Good luck with the next clutch. My babies are all doing excellent. Most are about 4X hatchling size now and the last little straggler is now eating great. Unfortunately I can't send any pics, as my pc crashed a couple of weeks ago. I'm on an old laptop and it doesn't have a usb port to plug my camera into. As soon as I get my pc back, I'll share some new pics.

thanks
