Anyone use them? Thinking about getting a 50Gal sliding front tank. But they don't seem to be very helpful. Any other suggestions?

Really? I've heard nothing but good about them (among aquarium folks). They aren't too helpful through email, I admit, but if you give them a call they're more than happy to help.

I ordered one of their sliding-front systems and I'm picking it up on February 12. I'll let you know how it goes!

Please do, I really want to know how well they keep humidity in. They don't appear to be sealed, but I haven't seen one up close

Actually, I do believe that they're sealed around the edges with clear silicone, if that's what you mean. Or if you mean the top, they don't come standard with a closed top; you have to order a screen or glass lid seperately.

Anyway, I'll be sure to let you know what I think of my cage when it arrives.

I promised I'd reply to let you know how I like the cage I got from them, so here it is.

I ordered a 30" x 12" X 16" sliding-front cage in January. I really like the cage construction - the silicone job looks pretty good, and all the sharp glass edges are grounded nicely to prevent cuts. The sliding doors have a plastic "lip" on the inside edge also, which is a nice touch. Overall, I'm happy with the quality.

Customer service is another issue altogether. I found the communication to be lacking and last-minute, as well as vague. They also forgot to bring the screen lid I ordered with the cage. Thankfully, they refunded the money for the lid without any problems, but it was still an inconvenience.

Overall, I'd still recommend their services. I like the quality of their cages, and the price is right. Don't expect a professional, because this isn't pro-quality service. But it's good nonetheless.

Hope that helps!
