Mine was breathing hard a lot a while ago, frequently open-mouthed. A visit to the vet speculated she had an upper respiratory infection, prescribed Baytril, and she seems to be doing better.

The prescription cost $25 and then I just had to pay the cost of the visit, which I believe was $50. Although had I thought about it at the time, I already had some Baytril at home and could have saved myself the extra $25. Good luck.

the doctor I have been taking my reps to has never been under $150. The least i've been there for is a check-up! Blast the alabama way of life!
