Yes, I am going. I met Dr. Seifort (organizer) at the BOR symposium. Not anything most "keepers" would find worth the cost of attending. Mostly meant for venom researcher, MD's that treat bite, PCC's personel, and antivenoms. I am going because of Antivenom Bank involvement and wanting to establish other banks out West.

This will probably be a fairly technical symposium and like Al and Matt, we are developing a regional venom center in the Midwest through CroFab so I will be interested to hear the latest research. Between us and the stuff you are doing in the Northeast, I think we could be on to something really terrific (I realize your aspirations will include a wide variety of antivenoms which is great; we are not quite that far along yet and are starting with primarily N.A. venomous herps). Should be fun. Rob

Al and Rob, if a non-keeper who still occasionally handles can help in anyway with your AV bank efforts, don't hesitate to ask. I can only imagine how great a nationwide AV network would be. Major kudos to your efforts.
