this is only a 10 gallon tank because i wanted to get the hang of working with the materials and figuring out the kinks in my tank making... i still need to go over some areas with silicone but for the most part the background stuff is done... the piece of wood in the wall will serve as a waterfall with a shallow gravel pool at the runoff point... i directed the flow using silicone to build up an edge to the piece of wood so that the water would flow where i wanted it to... i tested this out before i started to put the finishing touches on the background... the planter in the wall is going to house a bromeliad and is simply a yogurt container pushed into the wall... i was going to use halves of yogurt tops to serve as conks but when i started making them they looked funny because conks should be on trees... so i just shoved some shale into the foam to add texture... i am still deciding on my plants but when i figure that out i'll post to get some input on my light since that's my big concern right now... anyway... enjoy and please leave me some input! thanks!-paul
