I got this guy yesterday (thinking it was a female).
He was completely infested with mites and his backbone was sticking way out. He ate 2 fuz rats today with ease, and is just about mite free. This was my 1st encounter with mites in over 17 years. I soaked him for 3 hours yesterday and 3 more today in luke warm water. I also put a no-pest strip outside his box to kill those little stinkers.

I like his semi-reduced pattern.
