milk snake need help a.s.a.p

i have a 10 year old pueblan about 4 feet my problem is that he started to have a hard time breathing he would open is mouth and he would make this like caugh through where his tounge comes out now he has a little bloat in his chest area.he is still active and wants to eat will not let him eat just incase he goes on antibiotics taken him to the vette on sat morning it lookes like a resportory infection or bacteria or nomona.I hade two other king snake that had this symtnom but was worse they started to throw up blood need help on what to do or tell the vette what to do help thanks chris

Sounds like a respiratory infection. You should get him to the vet and THEN figure out what aspect of your husbandry allowed him to succumb to this infection.

Generally the problem is not having enough heat. That is why this happens in the winter more often than the summer. Check your cage temps. Make sure there is a cool area around 75°F and a warm area around 85°F.
