Lavender Albino Brooksi question.........

Nokturnel Tom Jan 29, 2005 12:30 AM

Since hatchlings are priced by color and there can be quite a range from average to best of the best I am wondering how much of a difference it makes they're adults? Do the prettiest babies turn into the better looking adults or do they all seem to look very similar when they mature? Also makes me wonder when mixing this trait with other morphs does it make a difference how intense the color of Lav is when working on let's say the Snow project? I saw a few Snows that had a killer Lavender look too them. Surprised there aren't more of them around as it is a great looking snake. Tom Stevens

Hopefully your Questions are answered in a proper manner, the last time I posted a similar question the response just left me with more question. but from my observations (PIX) the X-treme red lavenders don't look that great as adults (i may be wrong) i have seen Rainers adult Sulphur Lavenders (in a few Pix) and they look even better as adults than the do as Hatchlings. The only other lavender I've seen that looks good as an adult was an orange specimen (not sure of the breeder's name), it has been displayed in the classified a few time.

as far as the snow question... ithink the BHB line of Axanthics ("Anery" yields the Lavender look in the snow brooksi.

Hopefully someone else can answer your inquiry with more precision.

Tom,
I got mine from Osborn in 2001 at Daytona. I'll post a link to my photo album and you can check out the color change. You decide on what happens to the color as it matures.
