Bolivian breeding question.

marter Jan 29, 2005 02:15 PM

I have a pair of Bolivian amarali, both born in July/august of 02. Will they reproduce this season at 3-3half years of age? or would it be wise to just wait another season to pair them up? They are roughly the same size, around 4' or so the male is a little larger. Any response is greatly appreciated.

I would definitely wait. The female be 4-5 years of age and atleast 6ft. IMO

I agree, Bolivian Amarali females should be 4-5 years old and males 3-4. They simply take longer to reach maturity, and will not produce when young.
