Just put together the new humidifier

CaptainHook2 Jan 29, 2005 07:47 PM

I'm using an ultrasonic humidifier for my burm. Can't install it yet until the pipe dope off gasses from the PVC connections. I plugged it in to test it and was incredibly impressed. It puts out a fog. No more large wet spots from misting jets. My cage sits high so the humidifier will sit underneath the cage with a pipe going straight through the floor. Anyone use this that may have any more tips before I finalize the install?

Everything is in, sealed and working great. Humidity stays bewteen 65-70. Comes on every even hour for 30 minutes and makes no noise.

Sure thing. I'll take the pics tonight but it may take a few days. My office was just moved so I have to out it together before I can upload. This evening I just finished installing the same set-up for my balls. For under around $60 (humidifier, timer with 14 settings and PVC/connections) you can outfit the cage with this fog set-up and it seems to work incredibly well. Will post soon.
