I agree, I have seen and own BCC's that blow any morph away. Yeah I know reverse stripe "morph" right well with out the stripe he's a smoker.

someone has released morphs into the wild. This animal is wildcaught and it beats every wildcaught suriname redtails that I have seen so far (and I have seen hundreds).

But realistically breeding a standout Suri like that is, imho, morph breeding as he looks far and away better than most normals. A boa of that quality wouldn't survive in the wild as he is too flashy and would be culled by nature. I know this is a bit of a strech but surely you can see the catch 22 here?

this is also a reason why she has been caught. I heard from a well-informed source that the light redtails in Suriname and Guyana are hard to find in the meantime because they are the most desired animals to catch and sell.

Most of the imported wildcaught redtails are rather dark and plain now.

That is what makes this Suriname so near and dear to me.. very dark, no floating saddles.. wicked head type and markings. He was wc as a baby. Strangely enough, he has produced boas as light/clean as the boa you have posted. Quite a variable genetic make-up. Like most things in life, there are shades of gray. Keep up the good fight.
Thanks-
Matt

not the nicest.....I have also seen lots of suriname imports, probably into the thousands, and that is a 7 on a 10 scale of what I have seen.
It is very nice though, but not even close to the BEST normal suriname out of suriname/guyana.
The best animal in my own opinion was the albino suriname.
But since your not into morphs, then I still have seen quite a few as nice as that, and even nicer. In other words that is not the holy grail of surinames, there have been some normal wild caught surinames that blow that one away and went for thousands$$$$$$ they were that nice.
