My pretty girl turned out to be a handsome boy!
What a shocker! As far as I know she came from David Blair sexed as female and the original buyer perpetuated the myth to the cyclura breeder I bought her..um..him from.I had been thinking that maybe they were wrong as I had noticed a slight bulging and the jaw was getting more pronounced.Not to mention the outrageous color he's been picking up lately.
I didn't get a good look at it just a quick view of it reeling back in from like 3/4" out.So I'm fairly certain this was what I was looking at.I have to say I was a bit bummed out at first but after thinking about it,I won't have to listen to the insane digging and no egg bound troubles either.A male will make a more grand spectacle as well..bigger,bluer.
Well I suppose I have to find a more fitting name for him now as Cyan,though fitting for a blue lizard,is a bit girly for him.
Any suggestions for a new name for my handsome BOY lizard?Maybe something from west indies folklore?
