I've only had my Leo for about 3 days and boy can he eat! The girl at the petstore said that he should only eat 2 crickets a day but he'll eat anywhere from 5 to 8 each night. Was she wrong or will Leos eat as much as you offer? Should I just let him eat as much as he wants or will he overeat? He's my first Leo so any help would be helpful.

let him eat as much as he wants. ignore advice from pet store.

5 to 8 sounds about right. Just make sure the crickets aren't too big or else they can make him throw up.

Oh my what a little pig! After finding out that he can have as much as he wants I gave him more "baby" crickets, and he ate a total of 15 in one sitting! What did they do-starve the little guy?

....PROBABLY!
If he was that hungry you do have to watch out he doesnt eat so much that he throws up. But normally, with a leo who isn't starving, you can let them eat till they're full.
