poop question

karaslittleyoshi Jan 29, 2005 10:46 PM

I have a 4 month old male...over the last two days he has seemed to be pooping more often and the poop is not as normal as usual. Normally we all know it's kinda white and chalky looking. It's still solid and there are a few normal pieces here and there however there are a couple green pieces(solid) and a few,(it's hard to describe this) burnt crispy looking pieces. I was wondering is this because he is eating bigger crix now??? He does very well with them and loves to eat still or is it something else. Please tell me I'm overreacting.
Thanks

sorry to say, you are not overreacting. Green poop is not normal. Poop should be (if you're a leo) brown, fairly solid, not watery, and the chalky white stuff would be the reptile equivalent of urine. Please take a sample (fresh) to your vet ASAP.
