Satanics Deaths

I just wanted to post some observations from my limited experience: I have studied the phantasticus for about 2 yrs and keep them for about 1 ½ yrs. I have unfortunately lost 2 in that time frame both under similar circumstances I believe drowning. The first was a male about 2” who was stuck in a water dish I keep in the cage it was about 1/2” full of water. Although there was an African root and vines to climb out of it he could not easily climb out and became stranded in the dish I then lowered the water to ¼”. The second just happened with a WC juvenile I recently received, with the water half up my finger nail, and everyone fine for almost a year, the baby was stranded in the dish I believe with no way out. Since this just happened I have emptied and removed the dish from the enclosure. My main observation was that both times a loss happened my biggest male was close by over looking the uro. This last one that happened the baby was always close to the largest male and never strayed far from him day or night. I also believe the Largest male was close to the other one who passed even sleeping on top of each other during the day. I strongly believe they form a bond with each other, I wonder if any one has seen anything like this with adult male and females?

well i have noticed they have particular fondness for the same sleeping spot night after night, but never noticed any of them really sticking around with each other. as for the drownings, that's really unfortunate, but i dont think i've heard of that happening to anyone else around here. im pretty sure a lot of us dont even use water dishes because they require regular mistings, and they can get enough to drink from that. but in my opinion, if you've only lost 2 in the past 2 years, thats not bad at all.....but still unfortunate. especially seeing as this last one was a juvie.
