FBT BEHAVIOR?!

GreenAnoleManiac Jan 30, 2005 01:50 PM

Salutations, fellow FBT enthusiasts, my fire-bellied toads have recently started "wrestling" and I don't know why, may I also add that they continue to bark, I don't know if it's one, or maybe both of them, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Will.

I know that if they bark that means that they are a male. I think that only males wrestle. I have been told that wrestling is harmless and it is just a cool thing to watch, as long as they both eat, and appear to be fat and healthy.

yes i have heard that males usually wrestle. just something they do, sort of competing kind of thing. but they wont hurt each other... if you get really concerned just separate them.

my 3 fire bellies really go at it at feeding times. they even bite onto each others limbs. they are just doing what toads do. but i agree if it becomes such a problem with one being bullied all the time seperate them or perhaps set up a bigger habitate for them.
