how do you make fake rocks?

I've only made fake rock walls but fake rocks could be made the same way. Cut pieces of styofoam into the desired shape and then coat them a few times in a cement like material called plaster of paris. It dries really hard and fast making the job easy. The plaster of paris comes in a powder form that you just add water and dye to. If the styrofoam pieces aren't too big you could just dip them into the plaster and let them dry. Hope this helps.
