Equivalent to Supersoil?

trinacliff Jul 06, 2003 07:20 AM

Hey there...does anyone know any equivalent to Supersoil that can be found in the Southeast? I found out that Supersoil is only available in the West...but I need to find something like it to use for my pygmies enclosure.

Anyone have any clue??? Thanks!!!

Hi Kristen,

if you can't find anything you can order Pro-Mix (what I use) from this source (below). Did you check with local growers to see if you could buy some from them? Another thing I thought of is your local cooperative extension http://www.ifas.ufl.edu/extension/ces.htm Call them and ask for some sources. They should be able to help you out

Kristen-

If Suppersoil is not available in your area then ask for a potting soil that dose not have any vermiculite or prelite in it. That is basically what Suppersoil is. Hope this helps!
