Who has some of these?

jlassiter Jan 30, 2005 02:52 PM

I got this male from Don Shores in '02. I have yet to get a suitable female for him. I know some of you guys have some out there. I just want to see some pics of them.
I do have an aberrant female that is kinda half-striped that I plan on breeding her to next year.
I think Don did a good job with this project.

Here he is. The white is about 4 scales wide and wider in some spots.

Got mine from Don Shores as well (1.2). The male (pictured) is the best of the three. Like most cal kings the males seem to carry dominant traits better than females.

Lots of possibilities with these besides producing more of the same (which I would like to do LOL)

Wide stripe Mendotas
Wide stripe Ghost
Wide stripe Lavenders
Wide stripe High White Reverse Stripes???? LOL

Patience, patience, patience......

Btw, your male wide stripe looks good.

Those look great as well Kerby. I wonder who else is working with these besides us and Shores? Also when will you produce some? I should next year if all goes well.

Both of the females aren't as good looking as the male, but I'm hoping that on the second generation that it will be enhanced even more like most of my cal king projects.

I will be breeding mine this year, so we will see.
