BRB not eating...

jon4534 Jan 30, 2005 05:13 PM

She's been eating frozen/thawed very aggressively up until the 14th of January but hasn't eaten since. Her schedule is like this: Dec 7, 11, 16, 21, 26, Jan 1, 5, 8, 11, 14 so far. She pooped the 18th if that means anything. Does this sound like it may be a problem? The temp in the enclosure right now is 74.5 and humidity is 79%. Just want to be sure nothing could be wrong. Thanks, Jon

Jon,
....There is probably nothing wrong with her. Are your frozen thawed mice been frozen for very long? Are you thawing them out and getting them warmed up to about 110 before you offer them to her? Are you feeding at night? Just some ideas.

..the feeding schedule you're using should produce quick growth and I assume it's a baby by the feeding dates. You could try to move up one size of prey item and see if it now prefers a larger meal to constrict.
