Tessai, a request.

I'd really like to see a picture of that panther you said is white as rice. If you could post one here, or post a link, or send it to my email: scarlet_scorpion_27@hotmail.com that would be great. I love white chameleons, someone I know had a white male veiled, he called it a pastel, and he had light blue striping and I think a bit of yellow; he was the most beautiful chameleon I have seen so far.

Thanks,
-Brock

It seems so ironic to seek out almost colorless chameleons! Especially as this is a creature that fascinates us because they spend most of their time in transition from one color to another. Color is a temporary state of mind for these guys. Was this a rest color? I had a verrucosus who would turn almost completely chalk white when really angry. His normal coloration was well, normal. I didn't see the veileds advertised for $50,000 or whatever it was, but to have chams that lacked the very pigmentation that makes veileds so beautiful seems bizarre. I know I wouldn't pay extra for chams like this, but then I tend to like the "normal" or "native" color morphs of most things anyway.
