I'm debating on putting my sav down. He's in miserable shape only getting worse.
Does anybody know of a humane way I can do it myself, or should I just pay to have it done?

I have heard you can put them in a bad/container and then in the freezer. It's not painful and they go "to sleep" and never wake up. Then again you'd need a nice large freezer. Again this is something I've heard.

I wouldn't do that freezer thing, because the fact of me knowing something i've loved is dieing in the freezer makes me want to run in there and take em out. I would take him to a vet and have is professionally done. Sorry that he's sick.

Freezing is archaic and it is now known that the cells crystalize prior to death. This would be very painfull and similar to burning to death. If in northern areas, recall what frostbite feels like and multiply that by a million. If this is your pet then do the humane thing and take it to a proffesional (vet). Any method of euthanasia needs to be done by trained personel to avoid uncessary suffering.
