my first mex mex

I picked up a pair of these dark phase mex mex from Ric Blair a few months ago. I love these guys. Matt

Nice one Matt. Ric has some real beauties. It will get nearly black with age. And as I have seen with Ric's Mexmex the saddles may even turn orange-ish.
Again, Nice snake. You cannot go wrong with mexicana.

Thanks John, I really cant wait to see what these will turn out like when adults. I saw Ric's breeders last year and Ive been hooked since. So I finally got a paor this year. Matt

Some of Ric's breeders come from Kims' Kolubrids. Kim no longer is in the business and Ric got to these before I could. I did fortunately get her breeding colony of Thayeri, some of which came from Tim at Vivid.
Those Mexmex will go through an unbelievable change. It is fun to watch them darken with every shed. Keep us posted and glad you posted here. It is good to see new posters. It gives all of us a bigger picture of the herp world.
