What kind of female would you pair with this stud

jpau Jan 31, 2005 03:42 AM

Hey Guys and Gals,

This is my first post of the forum but I have been a hobby breeder off and on for the past three years. Anyway, I thought I'd share brick with you and his potential.

Got this stunner blood male a month back. He's my main breeder for a few of my projects that I have. What color-phase would you pair him up with?

What an AWESOME colored male. Depending upon how soon you are looking to breed.....Kakadu Dragons has some great orange dragons with Satryday and Dachiu lines. Also Mystical Dragons, but you will have to wait for babies. I think if you could find a nice bright orange girl you would have some screamer babies. Good luck.

Wendy,

Yea there is the option to pick up some screamer babies but then I would have to wait 1 years for them to mature. Brandon has a nice female but she's going for $900. I guess I'll keep my eyes open for a nice red/orange.

On a side note, has anyone tried the uvb bulbs advertised on this site www.uvheat.com? Also I'm thinking of picking up a microscope so I can do my own fecals if things pop up later down the road. How easy is this?

Thanks for the feedback,

Jason

I hear you. I have been looking for a great older orange female to pair with my Mystical Dragons boy since September of last year. I thought about Brondon's girl when you mentioned that. She is cousins with my male, so she was not an option. I purchased the microscope and parasite chart from beautiful dragons and it is relatively easy to do. It is nice to be able to do a fecal whenever you think there might be a problem. Good luck with your search. Just remember to ask yourself, and them for that matter, why they are getting rid of their female. Also, Hector at Spuds Dragons had some older females, you might want check with him.
