Missouri law and regulations help?

steelersdiehard Jan 31, 2005 07:57 AM

I was looking for some information on Missouri's laws and regulations as far as housing retiles (constictor snakes. Can anyone tell me if there is a limit in size, quantity etc. If not do you know of any place on the web that will help me?

In Missouri you need to check in and register with the local law enforcement of your county for any large constrictor of the boid and python family plus venomous. I don't think there is any cage restriction but of course it wouldn't sit to kindly if the snakes where like running loose in the house. All of these requirements can be found on Missouri's wild life page or fish and game. This may not be the case in particular cities and townships though where they supersede state laws on what you can keep legally. Someone else said that on venomous ( oppose to when I kept hots in the big MO. ), the wildlife does check on caging meaning they prefer locked rooms or as I did, out buildings and preferably locked cages ( as i did ). The latter is not for sure though and only as told to me.
