I put new 150 watt bulbs in their lights about a week and a half ago.
Now their colors are brighter then ever before. Usually Ares just basks with Apollo. But I gave them 2 bask areas on the ground and Ares likes the new one.
So this has meant less fighting between the two (I'm thinking that Apollo is a male mimic female because "he" gets brighter than Ares when basking and I read in my book that females get brighter colors when basking than males) so I think that the fighting was Ares saying HEY I'M READY TO GO (as in breed).
I'm working on getting a job (I was supposed to get one at my friends work but they hired someone else). Then I'm saving money for reptiles and the motorcycle I'm gonna be getting in May.
Just thought I'd let you all in on the good news(they are both more energetic now and also eat a ton more, and I'm pretty sure they're growing about 3 centimeters each day and gaining weight like pigs).

I have two Saharans, WC adults, and they are WAY skittier than my Malis. That may just be due to the fact that the Malis are all LTC of uncertain origin, but there's my experience, anyway. The Saharans are nearly impossible to catch and put up a thrashy fight when you do - no biting, though, not even from Joe. They've gotten used to my presence in the room, but still run if I approach the cage, most times.
