Was wondering if you can use peroxide on EXTERNAL wounds on the beardies...Two of my beardies have wounds on them which looks like they have been bitten by another beardie and need to know how to clean them...Thanks in advance...They are not infected or anything.....

Personally I'd use a dilute betadine solution. Mix half betadine and water and dab the wound with a q-tip.

I had been using an antibacterial ointment for two years. It worked but it took forever to heal because it stayed moist and sand stuck to it. A few weeks ago, I tried it on a toe nip and it looked so much better the next morning, I couldn't believe it. I have since gotten a small bottle with an applicator type tip and I have diluted it a little. Now I just give them a good soak to clean it a bit and I put a few drops on the bite, let it dry for a few sec's and back in they go. It works soooooo much better than an ointment, I can't even come close to tell you how much more comfortable I am using it.

Later.

I knew what I was talking about. LOL It made since when I read it,,, can't you read minds? just kidding. My fault.

Peroxide works great but I would dilute it a little.
