Second year breeding

gavinclews Jan 31, 2005 04:32 PM

This is my second year of breeding and last year the results werent that great. Only one of my females laid and only 1 clutch of 18. I had 100% hatch rate. This was her first time breeding and she was only 18 months. This year i am hoping for better results and wondered if anyone had any tips. My females are both big girls and in good breeding health. This year i have spent alot of money having had a bank of 6 vivs built with my male having one to himself and each female with one each aswell. I also have 2 more juveniles about 5 months old in another from my holdbacks last year. What i hope to do i cycle my females with the male to get better results and wondered if anyone has and tips on time, how often etc... Come on guys i need more babies!!

no offence but based off ur posts i dont think uve done enough research to do massive breeding... go read some books on beardies. also u can keep like 3 females in with one male if u wanna save space and money....
