Different tank set-up

Cdp75 Jan 31, 2005 10:44 PM

I had to rearrange the tank over the weekend. Poor Spot and Squiggles were getting stuck in spots since they have gotten bigger.
I really like it now and they must like it too!! They are in the water all the time and I haven't seen them once on the basking side.
It worried me at first b/c I thought they couldn't get out of the water. I soon found out they could when I lead Spot out of the water with a peice of food.

Here's what it looks like now...

I just can't get over how friendly they are. As soon as I walk up to them, they swim up to the glass or do this.....

your tank looks fantastic and your kids are adorable!

Glad you like it.
I just love these little guys. They are so cool! I'm really glad they're both boys so they'll stay small. I am thinking about an indoor pond for them eventually.

that would be fantastic. I'd really like to have an indoor pond but i dont think it would be feasible in my house. Although, i am going to have to do some rearranging soon because i have my turtles on the second floor and i have 16 of the little buggers. I'm thinking a few baby pools might be the way to go soon. I'd love to see your pond when/if you do it!

yeah, I know what you mean about not having room. I didn't have room for these guys so I put them in the floor under the bar. Everyone that comes over here is in shock when they see all the tanks. In the livingroom is a 44 g FW tank and in my dining room and kitchen(seperated by the bar) is a 10g FBT tank, 30 g FW, 60g reef tank, 55g turtle tank, a 20gH with 3 betta'(divided of course, a 40 breeder tank with hermit crabs, 60g- ball python, 40 breeder-2 cornsnakes, and a very large lizard lounge with 2 more cornsnakes. It's great!! I don't have to turn any lights on in the house until the timers go off.

Cool tank, cute "kids". But remember, "parents" shouldn't have favorites! lol

That is a fantastic set up - i am hoping to get something bigger for my little guy coz he's outgrowing the tank that he is in at the moment! Looks like a lovely serene haven for ur kids :0)
