Alot of people...like me, will just ship snakes through any company and not mention what is in the box, it's better that way.

Most companies will not knowingly ship live snakes, even non-venomous, so it's better to just not tell them. If you do tell them what you are shipping, it's not like they take better care of the box because there's a live animal inside, I've seen every company except the USPS(what a shocker!) throw or kick a box to my porch, even when the box says stuff like "THIS SIDE UP ^", "LIVE ANIMALS INSIDE" "HANDLE WITH CARE" and all that other good stuff. I've never had any problems with the Post Office and shipping snakes through them, even though it's illegal, it shouldn't be, and in my opinion it's one of the safest ways out there to ship a snake, and the cheapest too.

No, I'm thinking about selling some kings that I bread and I would like to be able to ship them. thx for all the advice!

It's not hard to ship them, put each in a deli cup or plastic container, with moist moss or a moist paper towel. Tape the containers up, but make sure there are a couple holes in them for ventilation.

Put newspaper in the box, to provide insulation and to keep the snakes from bouncing around. Put the containers under some of the newspaper...

Tape the box up, write the addresses on it, and send the box.

You might want to ask this on the "Shipping Discussion" forum.

Well, I've heard Delta Dash will consciously and willingly ship live reptiles. Unfortunately, they're really expensive and you have to drop your little friends off at the airport. Still, safe and legal can't be argued with.
Unless I'm mistaken about what they offer.

Is really one of the safest ways to go. They will ship for you, however you do have to take the snake to the airport early in the morning and the person has to go pick it up late at night. And you don't want to ship on too hot of a day, help preventing keeping it out on the tarmac for hours at a time and get baked alive. However, delta dash will insure your reptile.

It is a felony (i think 2nd degree) to ship a snake via USPS. Just so you know.

** how do you ship persay a kingsnake? **

As long as Persay pays the shipping I'll send it however he wants.
