Gut Loading Crickets, and color enhancers

photojoe Feb 01, 2005 03:14 PM

I was wondering what most of you use to gut load your crickets. Is it healthy enough to use one of the dry foods on the market in addition to the water cubes? I'm using Fluker farms right now I belive

Also - I was wondering if feeding them fish food with color enhancers will pass those same enhancing vitamins, etc, to the beardies?

Thanks

For my crickets I use a regular cricket gut load dry food. I also give them scraps of veggies that the lizards don't eat. I also try to give them some sort of fruit or veggie that has a lot of water in it. I tried using the water cubes but did not have as much luck as I did with way I feed them now. As for the Fish food I don't have a clue but I would be cautious about feeding them something out of the ordinary like that.
