My bell pastel doing a good job keeping the females happy. I should have 15 - 20 gravid females. Atleast I got my fingers way crossed that everything will go as planned. Thanks DAVID

Congratulations on your male pastel breeding, but 15-20 GRAVID females from one male? I don't think so. 5 or 6 maybe even 8; possible. 15-20; no chance.

I believe last year somebody here got 14 good clutches from a single male. Not positive, but I think it was 14.

Don't be fooled, EVERYTHING IS GENETIC!!!

I know of a small young male pastel that fathered 8 good clutches before the age of 1 year (400 some odd grams). My above post may be wrong, it may have been 16 good clutches.

Mykee, Not to be a jerk, But I don't see where I ever said that ONE pastel Male did all of my Breeding. I actually have 3 Male pastels that did all of my breeding. They were rotated through the 15 - 20 females and most of the are showing signs of being gravid. So I believe you might need to READ before you leap....LOL... take it easy. See ya later, DAVID

I guess I can see where someone might have thought I had gotten 15 - 20 females gravid from one male but I never actually said the the bell male was my only breeder. Thanks David
