i was wondering if i wsa to buy a parsons chameleon some day are they usually purchased when babies or are they usually already adults

You'll be extremely lucky to find either! There are a very few hatched in captivity so you might find a baby, but don't hold your breath. Very occasionally an adult might be for sale from a breeder. Most likely though anyone needing to sell an adult will only do so to someone who has been successful keeping that species and is set up (with an unrelated mate) to breed also. And, as none are being imported legally there are no animals being brought in at any age. There are so few on the market I could not predict which will happen more often.
