Stupid Flexwatt question what side goes down on the wood?

I see two copper stripes and then nothing on the other side what side goes down on the wood?

the only stupid question is the one you DON'T ask.i always keep the copper side up,but it makes no differance.BTW if your useing clips to attach the wire make sure you squeeze them together as tight as you can.have fun
