two personalities

laundryqueen Feb 01, 2005 09:12 PM

We have 2 male beardies. They are awesome pets and the kids love them. Although they both have different personalities. We purchased them both at the same time and they were housed together at the store. The smaller of the two is passive with a very easy going attitude. You can catch him easily and he loves to be held and handled. The other is stubborn. He plays catch me if you can and is bigger than his brother. When held he is fine and then he struggles. Is there anything I can do to make him a little more easy to handle or is this just his personality? Mean, big and bad. LOL!

If your housing them in the same cage then as soon as they hit sexual maturity the non-dominant male is going to become severly depressed and die. NEVER HOUSE TWO MALES TOGETHER.

keep handlin him and it should pass wit time.
