Temps Variations. Im a Newbie

I have a juvie Leo and last night the temp inside the tank reached 73F. Belly temp 79F. And he only ate 3 mealworms. (before that he was eating 12 mealworms a day)

During the day the highs should be around 85-92, toward the cooler side of that if the tank is small, and vice versa. 73 sounds like a good low temp, but not good for a high,.
