...Granted the albino leopard is huge and his bands are still solid.
He is 2x the size of our adult Leo at home -- but they are claiming that this leopard gecko will max out at two feet-- which we find a little odd and disconcerting, not to mention unbelieveable.
They also have him priced at $199-- which is also odd.
I guess our question is: Is the giant strain already at two feet, or did the 'reptile specalist' exaggerate. We think so.
The store is PetsMart and they would not release the breeder's name. To their credit they have been getting in some beautiful hard-to-find-pet-store reptiles-- for example an albino fat-tail. Also to the stores credit-- the reptiles are very well kept and healthy. The reptile section is kept by a educated staff who for the most part, enjoy their reptiles and exotics.
We are interested in buying this leo for his beauty alone (Plus he's super friendly)-- but want to get all the facts. For all we know he's a beautiful adult male that is priced really reasonably...who is just pretty darn big.
Thanks in advance,
Cat and Scott

P.S. Anyone who remembers us-- that rescued leo we took in last march is tipping the scales and doing just fine. Our AFT is HUGE and healthy. Thanks for all the advice, Tokay_Dude (if you are still lurking about). We'll be posting updated pictures with in the week.
Cheers.
