Question about ordering superworms...please let me konw what you think...more

bmills Jul 06, 2003 12:33 PM

I found a site, The Superworm Farm Inc., that has superworms. A 1000 is $14.00, 500 is $12.00, 250 is $10.00, and 100 is $7.50. Do these prices seem good. Also, if I do order them, what is the best way to keep them...what do I need for food. I was planning on keeping them in tuperware...but not sure what to put in with them. So please let me know.

I am sure those prices are good. I have never heard of the company, but I order all my feeder insects through wormman ONLY. If you go to my website I have a care sheet about super worms and also 3 gutloads of what to feed to all your feeder insects. I hope you find it useful.

I looked at wormman, but it was more expensive. What is the shipping cost for that, or is it included. Also, how long does it take to ship. This place I was thinking bout garuntees live shipment, and other people have told me about it. I appreciate your help, I will check out your site.

I order the small super from the Superworm Farm since I don't know of any other places that offer them in different sizes. I keep mine in Rubbermaid plastic shoebox with wheat bran as their substrate which they eat as well. I but the dry superworm food from Walkabout Farm (www.herpnutrition.com) and provide a piece of carrot of potato as a water source. Don't refrigerate them keep them in room temperature.
