What do YOU use as a cleaning agent for your cage??

Charlotte Feb 02, 2005 11:41 AM

My bigun currently resides in an 8x4x2 cages.

It is a pain in the butt to clean, but it does get done.

I was curious if any of you knew of anything that cleans and sanitizes, that is perfectly safe for snakes, that you could just spray on, scrub, and wipe off.
No rinsing.

I used to use Nolvasan, but have since run out and don't work at the vet anymore that I used to get it from.
Even then, I rinsed it.

Anyone have any ideas??

Virosan from pro exotics.. It is cheap and very effective. You can even spray it on the animal, if you have one to sort of crap and wallow whiel you are soaking it. You can just spray it on there and wipe it off. got to proexotics.com.

I agree with Justin.Go to Pro Exotics to get your Virosan. It
is a great product, and I've been using it for the past two
years for all my reptile cleaning needs.

I believe Nolvosan and Virosan are the same thing, chlorahexidine solution. I'm a vet tech at an animal clinic and get mine from there, but I beleive Pro Exotics sells bottles and refills if you need them www.proexotics.com
